"YL Khemo Kowboy" is a wonderful dark bay 1999 Sweepstakes gelding who definitely inherited both his sire (a Khemosabi++++ son) and dam's exceptional athletic ability and good looks. His sire is a multiple US Nationals Open Champion in Arabian Cutting, and his dam was also a multiple Champion in Class A and Regional Championships plus Scottsdale Res. Champion Open Cutting. "Kowboy" is quick, has a much desired natural stop, a superb disposition, and is "broke-to-death." Never shown, he is an exceptional candidate for Working Western competition and needs a job, or just someone who likes to ride the pastures (like we do) on a truly quiet "solid" horse.
"Echo" is a 1999 dark Bay Sweepstakes gelding, 15.2-1/4 hands tall. His sire was sold and exported to Uruguay in 2001 where he was selected "Grand Champion Stallion" and also "Best Arabian" (of all genders competing) at Uruguay's equivalent of our US Nationals Show, the 2002 "Expo Prado," which was his first time shown in South America. Echo's dam produced a US National Open Futurity Cutting Champion, YL Fire Tchieftain, (Ivanhoe Tsultan x Hal Gazelle) and Echo has exhibited his superior talent by winning his Junior Western Pleasure class the first (and only time) he has been shown to date, other than his success in Halter competition at Region 9 as a young Futurity Champion. He is a Nationals quality horse who is exceptionally quiet and well-mannered under saddle. Very gentle and willing to work without argument, "Echo" exhibits great showring potential and is perfect for a youth or adult Amateur competitor, either one.
"Smoke" is a very attractive 2001 grey Sweepstakes gelding with an exceptionally good attitude and correct conformation. He is a beautiful mover and has lots of showring promise. A full-brother to "YL Savannah Shah," he has the same sweet personality and willingness to accept training well. He also has his full-brother's lovely long neck and equal appreciation for human company. "Smoke" is training extremely well under saddle, continuing to illustrate his great attitude and superior athletic ability with every ride.
"YL Buckshot" is a 1999 Sweepstakes Half-Arabian Buckskin gelding who is a real charmer and can be placed in the "broke-to-death" category. Although technically he is registered and regarded as a Buckskin, I refer to him as a "Buckamino" since he has about as much silver in his mane and tail as he does black. He is by "YL Ebony Bey," the homozygous black stallion I raised and sold to clients in Montevideo, Uruguay and he's out of a pale Palomino Quarter Horse mare. Perfect for kids in "Walk-Trot" competition or older youth or amateur riders, any new home has to be approved as perfect or "Bucky" isn't leaving here.
"Stormy" is a 2002 very dark gold solid Buckskin gelding with no white markings. He is out of my favorite *Serafix granddaughter who was an outstanding Halter mare and would have been a great performance mare if I could have resisted starting her breeding career so soon. She remains a consistent producer of superior foals, both purebred and Half-Arab, who are extremely attractive and always 100% athletic. Stormy has the moves and awesome natural "stop" that Reiners, Working Cow competitors, and Cutters dream of. Even as a 2 year old, he's already showing the looks, heart, well-developed hindquarters, size and athletic ability to prove himself a future top-of-the-line competitor. "Boogie" crosses extremely well with "Velvet," and if you care to see the consistency of quality using this match, please also inquire about photos of Stormy's full brothers & sisters who have sold/or are also available.
"YL Bronco Boogie" is a 2001 Buckskin 15 hand Sweepstakes gelding who is broke-to-ride and a superior candidate for a competitor who recognizes the difference between a mediocre horse and one with loads of talent and exceptional athletic ability. The kind nature and willingness to learn Bronco has illustrated since going into training is most impressive. He is an excellent candidate for most any discipline a new owner might consider, but is exceptionally promising for "Working Western" competition. The Spanish blood his Arabian dam passed down to him has resulted in what happens with nearly all Spanish-bred Arabians I have known or bred and raised. They are laid-back, like people and try to please. (Bronco is slick and dappled in spring and summer, but already growing his 2003 fall/winter coat in this photo.)
"Diva" is a gorgeous bay 1998 Sweepstakes purebred Arabian "Desperado V" daughter and out of a *Serafix granddaughter, SX Vallejo Velvet, who consistently produces extremely typey and athletic purebred and Half-Arabian foals, regardless of the stallion she's bred to. "Diva's" very prestigious pedigree, top and bottom, is loaded with Halter and Performance Champions at all levels of competition, and she's ready and able to be one herself. If the showring doesn't appeal to you, this mare's exceptional beauty and proven bloodlines definitely qualify her to be a Champion- producing broodmare prospect for your breeding program.
"YL Anna Malika" is a 1995 Straight-Spanish purebred Arabian mare with lots of "type," lovely conformation, swan neck, beautiful movement, and the expected calm, "laid-back" wonderful disposition and personality we who have Spanish Arabians have learned to expect from them. She was a Region 9 Top 5 Halter Futurity filly as a 2 year old, but has not been shown since...just enjoys the pasture life and looking pretty. That lifestyle is about to be changed abruptly since she is now under saddle and will be "rideable" whether she is ever shown again or not. It would certainly be a terrible waste not to breed a pretty mare like this also...especially with the highly prestigious bloodlines she has to offer a breeder. Spanish-Arabian "preservation breeders" especially need to consider purchasing this mare!
"Empress" is a solid black 1995 Sweepstakes mare who is beautifully bred and will be a superior broodmare for breeders of black Arabians. A daughter of "YL Ebony Bey," (the homozygous black stallion I sold to clients in Montevideo, Uruguay several years ago who became Uruguay's National Champion) "Empress" will be a lovely addition to any breeders broodmare band, but I personally hope she will be included in a black breeding program. She has a great disposition, is broke-to-ride, and is one of those nice non-aggressive mares who blends in well with other horses in a pasture setting.
"Gypsy" is a 1998 Bay Sweepstakes mare, 14.3-1/2 hands tall, and beautifully broke-to-ride. She is gentle, quiet and cooperative with smooth gaits and a willing attitude. She was Res. Champion Halter filly in the 2000 Region IX Youth Stallion Service Auction Futurity as a 2 year old, but hasn't been shown since that time. Her sire is a multiple US Nationals Western Pleasure Champion with a very impressive Show Record, and her dam produced (among other terrific foals) a US National Cutting Futurity Champion for me, "YL Fire Tchieftain," who won $18,000.00 in Cutting competition during a brief career. Gypsy is a very special mare with a splendid pedigree and is a joy to ride. With her bloodlines, athletic ability and temperament, "YL Gypsy Moon" also offers great broodmare potential for your breeding program.
"Lenas Bargold Boogie" is a very pretty 1999 double-registered PHBA and AQHA Palomino mare who is gentle and extremely well-broke to ride. Another of her "extreme" qualities is that she is an awesome athlete. Lena can be described as "quick and fast" and has a great natural stop, meaning she has always "naturally" stopped on her rearend rather than her frontend, which some horses tend not to do. She also knows how to stop hard and fast with just the slightest signal. She has earned some PHBA Halter Points as a young filly, but not yet shown in Performance competition. Very responsive under saddle with a "light" mouth and good attitude, Lena will make some fortunate individual a very versatile showhorse who obviously has tremendous potential as a quality broodmare as well. Her AQHA bloodlines include top Cutting, Racing, and Halter Champions: Doc Bar, Three Bars, Gay Bar King, Doc O'Lena, Cutter Bill, Two Eyed Jack, Zippo Pat Bars, Leo, The Invester, etc.
